On Monday 10 March, Ross delivered the keynote speech at the official opening of Climate Action Week Sydney 2025.

In his address, Ross argues that while climate disruption worsens, the economics of decarbonisation have shifted in Australia's favour. He outlines how Australia's unique advantages – renewable capacity, resources and industrial capability – position it to lead in a zero carbon world, and calls for a faster, simpler policy to unlock the superpower opportunity.
