On Wednesday 27 November, TSI hosted a roundtable discussion based around the ideas of Ross Garnaut's latest work, 'Let's Tax Carbon: And Other Ideas for a Better Australia'.
Featuring an introduction from Productivity Commission Chair Danielle Wood and contributions from TSI chair Rod Sims and CEO Baethan Mullen. The session explored Australia's poor economic performance over the past decade and what is needed to bring Australia back to a period of prosperity, towards full employment and real wage growth.

He previously chaired the ACCC (2011-2022), served as Deputy Secretary (Economic) in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, and Principal Economic Adviser to PM Bob Hawke (1988-1990).
